Subcontract Manager Associate

Job Summary
Draft, negotiate, and award moderate to complex goods and services subcontracts, including those with SOW/spec-driven requirements. Generate requirements for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), analyze and evaluate proposals, and negotiate subcontract terms while confirming and expediting material delivery to support development and production program requirements. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and potential suppliers, proactively identifying and managing supply chain risks to support competitive, compliant, and timely proposals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, finance, operations, and business development to align requirements and achieve business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, subcontract management a similar role
- U.S. Citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders)
- Analytical/negotiation skill sets
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and other technical documentation to procure build-to-print components in compliance with engineering, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements
- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, materials, and configuration control to ensure accurate sourcing and supplier execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen
- Subject to ongoing, unannounced random drug and alcohol testing
