Job Summary
Perform electro-mechanical assembly including soldering, wire cutting, and connector crimping per established process specifications and IPC Standards. Read blueprints, schematics, and documentation such as wiring diagrams and bills of material to assemble complex assemblies with minimal supervision. Prioritize work orders throughout the cell while training team members and reporting issues with BOMs and routings to management. Act as a lead to Sub-Systems Assemblers when assigned. Requires five years of mechanical and electro-mechanical experience, including wiring and soldering, with the ability to follow production schedules and use a computer workstation.
Required Qualifications
- At least five years experience in mechanical and electro-mechanical environment
- Previous wiring and soldering experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have finger dexterity
- Ability to use keyboard/ten key
- Good eyesight for use of microscopes and small part assembly
- Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a cell lead preferrable
