Job Summary
Submit a Sub Availability Form upon hire and maintain communication with club management to accept or deny work shifts within 24 hours. Perform assigned shifts by monitoring club cleanliness, auditing cash drawers, and balancing inventory while ensuring all members adhere to company policies. Stock retail and janitorial items, operate fitness equipment, and assist with member promotions and community outreach events. Participate in team meetings and stay current on required certifications and training. This part-time, nonexempt role requires availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts, with hours ranging from 4 to 20 per week.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- AED Certification
- Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Great communication skills with internal and external customers
- Must be team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized
- Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively
- Proficient ability in Microsoft Office and using a computer
- Must have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Familiar with Excel's mission, values, vision, and culture
- Familiar with the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements
- Must be available for mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight as required
- Must be available for shifts outside of regularly scheduled hours
- Must work no less than 4 hours per month
- Must work no more than 20 hours per week
- Must not have declined three consecutive work shifts indicated on Sub Availability Form
