Job Summary
Sub Leader for DMMI Production Control / Warehouse - Inbound Receiving on 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM). Lead 2nd shift Receiving team in the absence of the Team Leader, conduct daily audits, facilitate start-up meetings, train and develop associates and temporaries, enforce Denso policies, and serve as the first point of contact for associates. Requires forklift/PIV licensing upon acceptance, ability to work overtime on short notice, strong verbal/written communication, inventory and data-entry skills (CIGMA), and proficiency with Microsoft Office and IBM Notes. Prior warehouse experience (≥2 years) and leadership capabilities are required; bilingual ability is highly preferred in the Battle Creek community. A resume is required for consideration.
Required Qualifications

- Associate III or above
- Submit two (2) recommendation forms from Team Leader and above
- Complete Sub Leader Learning Path Training in Oracle
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to obtain forklift / PIV license upon acceptance of position
- Must have previous warehouse experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong math skills
- Must be dependable and have outstanding attendance
- Must have some inventory skills and ability to train others
- Ability to work overtime on short notice
- At least 2 years of warehouse experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, IBM Notes, and ability to enter multiple screens in CIGMA
- Multi-tasking ability and leadership skills
- BEAM program participation and trustworthiness
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Ability to operate a battery hoist, baler, and dock lever
- Bi-lingual competency preferred in Battle Creek community
