Job Summary
Submit a Sub Availability Form upon hire and complete a new form at least seven days in advance if availability changes. Maintain reasonable communication with club management by replying within 24 hours to accept or deny work shift offers. Perform to your best abilities during assigned shifts while monitoring and maintaining club cleanliness, atmosphere, and inventory. Conduct regular audits to ensure the club meets standards, balance cash drawers daily, and update member information into tablets and point of sale. Operate and assist members with equipment and amenities, address infractions, and promote membership through tours and community outreach. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, participate in team meetings, and assist the GM and AM with operational strategies. This part-time, nonexempt role requires no less than four hours per month and up to 20 hours per week, with shifts assigned based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- AED Certification
- Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Great communication skills with internal and external customers
- Must be team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized
- Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively
- Proficient ability in Microsoft Office and using a computer
- Must have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Familiar with Excel's mission, values, vision, and culture, as well as the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements
- Must be available for weekends
- Must be available for mornings
- Must be available for evenings
- Must be available for overnight
- Must work no less than 4 hours per month
- Must work no more than 20 hours per week
- Must not have declined three consecutive work shifts that they indicated they would be available to work on their Sub Availability Form
