Job Summary
Sub Team Player needed at Excel Fitness (Hurst, TX) for part-time on-site role. Responsibilities include submitting a Sub Availability Form, communicating with club management, maintaining club cleanliness, using the Planet Fitness app, ensuring training completion, conducting club audits and walkarounds, balancing cash drawers, updating member data in tablets and POS, enforcing policies, providing member service, stocking retail and janitorial items, supporting inventory orders, staying current on required certifications, participating in team meetings, promoting memberships, and assisting the GM/AM with promotions and operational strategies. Must be 18+, HS diploma or equivalent, CPR/AED certified before solo work, able to stand for long periods, strong communication, team-oriented, proficient with Microsoft Office, able to handle confidential information, and familiar with Planet Fitness brand and operations. Part-time, nonexempt; shifts vary across mornings/evenings/weekends/overnight as needed; 4–20 hours per week; 0% travel. EEO diverse workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR Certification and AED Certification are required before working alone.
- Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time.
- Great communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Must be team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.
- Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively.
- Proficient ability in Microsoft Office and using a computer.
- Must have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Familiar with Excel’s mission, values, vision, and culture, as well as the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.
