Job Summary
Drive vehicles from homes of persons served or central loading areas to destinations according to assigned schedules. Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices, ensure seatbelt use, and operate cellular phones to report service disruptions. Maintain trip records, clean and service vehicles with fuel and lubricants, and participate in departmental meetings. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures. This substitute driver role supports individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving personal growth within Jefferson, WI programs. Successful completion of required training within 60 days of hire is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- A valid state-issued driver's license with a driving record that meets our requirements
- Successfully complete all required training within 60 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Professional driving experience preferred
