Job Summary
Sub-contractor responsible for removing existing windows and doors and installing new Pella windows and doors in residential applications. Responsibilities include coordinating installation schedules with Project Coordinator/Installation Supervisor, directing on-site work, identifying installation methods and materials, installing to Pella guidelines and quality standards, testing operations and demonstrating product usage to customers, maintaining clean job sites, communicating effectively with customers as a representative of Pella Mid-Atlantic, training new procedures for windows, ensuring completion certificates and balance collection, conducting site inspections, performing recovery work as needed, ensuring proper warehouse returns processing and scans, using and maintaining company tools, and adhering to safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Compliance with company Fleet Safety Policy
- Background checks and drug screens (Pella Mid-Atlantic)
- Motor vehicle checks for drivers
- Prior knowledge of general construction applications and terminology
- Strong communication skills (phone or email)
- Write legibly and informatively; read and interpret written information; edit for spelling/grammar
