Job Summary
Finance Administrator for a full-time remote independent contractor role. Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day financial operations: processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing and reconciling financial statements and reports, maintaining financial records and databases, assisting in budget preparation and variance analysis, vendor/client coordination, bank deposits and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with policies and statutory requirements, providing administrative support to the finance team, assisting with audits and payroll processing. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), strong Excel and accounting software skills, high attention to detail, confidentiality, and solid organizational and communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience in finance, accounting, or administrative support roles
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and confidentiality
