Job Summary
Conduct active participation in post-processing and manufacturing, including setting up, operating, and optimizing machines and production facilities. Support and act as deputy for the department head in daily operations, providing technical guidance to staff and performing first-piece, intermediate, and quality inspections. Contribute to automation, process optimization, and the introduction of new technologies while solving technical challenges with practical solutions. This role offers a unique combination of hands-on manufacturing work and supervisory responsibilities within a modern precision machining environment in Basel. Candidates with a Meister-level qualification or equivalent and extensive experience in mechanical finishing are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossene technische Grundausbildung, z. B. als Polymechaniker EFZ, Produktionsmechaniker EFZ, Maschinenmechaniker oder vergleichbare Ausbildung
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der mechanischen Fertigung bzw. Nachbearbeitung
- Gute Kenntnisse in Zerspanung, Fertigungs- und Messtechnik
- Gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sowie solide EDV-/ERP-Kenntnisse
Desired Qualifications
- Weiterbildung auf Stufe Meister, HF oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Erfahrung in der Qualitätssicherung
- Interesse an Automatisierung, neuen Technologien und Prozessoptimierung
- Ausgeprägtes technisches Verständnis und Freude an der praktischen Mitarbeit
- Selbstständige, strukturierte und qualitätsbewusste Arbeitsweise
