Job Summary
Office-based in Ankara, Study Startup Specialist I provides direct operational support to project teams and ensures clinical study startup activities start smoothly and on time. Responsibilities include site identification and selection, collecting/reviewing ethics and regulatory documents, preparing site document packages for drug release, negotiating site contracts and budgets, coordinating with project teams, investigative sites, review bodies, vendors and clients, and monitoring startup metrics and timelines. Requires at least a college degree and 1 year of experience in clinical research or study startup in Türkiye, plus English (B1) and Turkish (C1) proficiency, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Required Qualifications
- College/University degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in clinical research or study startup
- At least 1 year industry experience in clinical research and/or study startup in Türkiye
- Full working proficiency in English (B1) and C1 level in Turkish
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to negotiate and build relationships at all levels
