Job Summary
Study Startup Manager leads study startup in 1 to 3 assigned countries from project start until site activation, ensures startup deliverables and timelines, acts as primary/secondary client/vendor contact, reviews quality metrics, trains project teams on Study Startup processes, allocates resources, develops training materials, mentors staff, and performs line management for local startup teams. Requires a Life Sciences degree, 7+ years in study startup with 3+ years in a lead/line manager role, strong communication and customer-service skills, team-building and organizational abilities, and proficiency in English and Chinese; proficient with MS Office and MS Project. Locations include Shanghai, CN, with in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
- 7+ years of Study Startup experience in the country/region
- 3+ years of Lead/Line Manager experience
- English and Chinese language proficiency
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Project
