Job Summary
Develop and implement an instructional program integrating Church teachings across the 9-12 curriculum while maintaining detailed records and daily lesson plans. Supervise student safety and welfare, organize the classroom to facilitate learning, and provide ongoing assessments aligned with Diocesan Curriculum Standards. Deliver constructive feedback, maintain proper grading systems, and establish positive relationships with parents and the school community through regular conferences and faculty meetings. Continuously pursue professional development to stay current with religious and academic certifications, actively participate in school improvement processes, and uphold gospel values and Catholic moral teaching in all interactions.

- Must demonstrate personal self-discipline
- Must be adaptable and flexible in routine and unexpected situations
- Must use good judgment in daily encounters
- Must use verbal and written language correctly
- Must demonstrate an appropriate sense of humor
- Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of good teaching techniques
- Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child psychology
- Must maintain appropriate grooming and dress at all times as stated in the faculty handbook
- Preference given to Catholic teacher
- Must be willing to make a public Profession of Faith if Catholic
- Must be willing to support Catholic teachings and philosophy if non-Catholic
- Must hold a Bachelor's Degree
- Must be certified by the Arizona State Department of Education as a teacher
- Must meet applicable Accreditation requirements
- Must have received Safe Environment Training
- Must have signed the Code of Conduct
- Must have completed FBI Fingerprint clearance
- Must meet Ministry Formation Certification
- Must meet Ministry Formation re-certification as required by Diocesan policy
