Job Summary
Manage daily newscasts by checking floor equipment and set pieces for proper operation and visual aesthetics. Operate teleprompter and Vinten robotic cameras while running scripts and news updates between the newsroom and studio. Handle studio lighting, general maintenance, and wireless microphone batteries. Assist with public service and commercial production, plus other News department projects as needed. Schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays. This part-time role supports the Producer and Director for all show production needs at WSB TV.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Detail oriented
- Familiarity with computers and basic digital programs
- Schedule may include nights, weekends, and or holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum two years of college preferred
- Live television experience preferred
