Job Summary
Studio Technician (Part-Time, Per Diem) supports live broadcasts by serving as Floor Director and coordinating talent cues, blocking, and timing; operates camera systems (including JIBs) and robotic pedestals, manages lighting cues on an ETC board, runs teleprompter scripts, and tracks live rundowns with adaptability for a dynamic, scheduled coverage environment. Requires strong communication, multitasking, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced studio setting with irregular hours. Two years of television station experience and a high school diploma or GED are required, with a college degree in a related field considered a plus.
