Job Summary
Studio Support Specialist responsible for building, installing, and maintaining studio environments for Evolution’s gaming floor. Responsibilities include setting up studios with gaming tables, cameras, microphones, cabling, lighting, and decorative elements; developing build processes; complying with Gaming Regulations and OSHA; ordering and maintaining equipment; training new employees; generating reports and providing information to team members; covering for colleagues during vacations or absences; and occasional travel. Must have experience with hand/power tools, interpreting measurements, working with varied materials, basic electrical concepts, and basic IT familiarity. Requires teamwork, reliability, ability to follow detailed instructions, and willingness to work overtime and respond to emergencies. Travel within North America and abroad may be needed; overtime availability and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. Required Qualifications
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Understanding of and ability to apply/interpret measurements and related tools
- Experience working with assorted building materials (e.g. wood, metal, tile, plastic, carpet, etc.)
- Basic understanding of electricity and electrical wiring concepts
- Ability to interpret and follow detailed written and verbal instruction
- Basic computer skills (e.g. email, instant messaging, MS Office or similar apps)
- Basic knowledge of how Audio/Visual technology functions and willingness to learn more advanced aspects of A/V systems.
- Willingness to travel (within NA and abroad)
- Willingness to work overtime when required and to be available for emergency situations
- Punctuality, reliability and experience working with a team
