Job Summary
Studio Manager needed to lead The Class’s Santa Monica studio, overseeing sales-driven revenue growth, hospitality, front-of-house operations, team development, and day-to-day studio performance. Responsibilities include managing the sales strategy and team to hit revenue, attendance, and membership goals; hiring, training, and coaching staff; monitoring KPI performance and reporting; driving membership, class packages, retail, referrals, partnerships, events, and community initiatives; ensuring an exceptional student experience; overseeing staffing, payroll coordination, budgets, vendor relations, inventory, and studio standards; maintaining operational excellence; partnering with cross-functional teams to support events and programs; and representing the studio in the local wellness community. The ideal candidate is an organized, relationship-driven, goal-oriented leader comfortable coaching others, handling guest interactions, and solving operational challenges, with available availability for evenings, weekends, events, and select holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of management experience in fitness, hospitality, wellness, retail, or another customer-facing service business
- Proven success managing teams and driving revenue growth
- Experience hiring, training, coaching, and developing high-performing employees
- Experience managing budgets, operating expenses, and business performance metrics
- Strong sales leadership experience, including managing conversion, retention, and customer experience initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to create exceptional guest experiences and build community
- Experience working with CRM, scheduling, POS, and reporting systems
- Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, Shopify, Mindbody, ClassPass, Slack, and related business tools is preferred
