Job Summary
As a Studio Lead at LJA Land Development, you will oversee the artistic direction and visual identity of planning projects, managing a team of planners, CAD technicians, and interns. Responsibilities include preparing and supervising concept plans, street pattern sketch plans, and site plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry standards. The role emphasizes developing new design methods, conducting design reviews, and providing aesthetic oversight. This position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in urban planning or related fields and at least 7 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in urban planning, land development, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in CAD software, Adobe Suite, and other relevant design tools
- Strong understanding of urban planning principles and sustainability practices
- Knowledge of design principles, aesthetics, and graphic communication techniques
- Strong organizational and project management skills
