Studio F – Event Set, Strike & Assembly Casual Staffing (Seasonal/On-Call)

Job Summary
Assist in event setup, strike, and assembly for special events production at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Use hand and power tools to install and strike décor and equipment while performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, hauling materials, and working on feet for extended periods. Support on-site logistics including truck loading, warehouse coordination, and site cleanup under the direction of the Director of Studio F Designs or crew lead. Maintain a disciplined workflow, report equipment or safety issues, and provide professional service to internal teams and external clients. This seasonal, on-call role requires comfort working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Warehouse inventory or equipment coordination
- Previous work in a build shop or crew/warehouse environment
- Strong understanding of logistics and the movement of people, equipment, and event materials
- Ability to remain flexible and pivot roles based on changing business levels and program needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly reliable, responsible, and detail oriented
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- May require lifting up to 50 pounds
- Long periods of standing and or sitting
Desired Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in the special events, live event production, or DMC industry preferred
