Job Summary
Support studio environments in a design school by preparing studios, providing instruction to students and staff on studio facilities, software, and equipment, ensuring OH&S compliance, assisting with exhibitions installation, and reporting issues per university processes to enable positive learning and teaching outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Good knowledge and expertise in studio-based activities associated with a design school
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide both written and verbal instruction to a range of audiences
- Willingness to deliver inventive and flexible solutions to staff and students
- Willingness to take on new challenges, and organise workload to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of OH&S legislation and regulations particularly in regard to teaching and studio environments
- Demonstrated current information technology and computer aided design skills
- Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively as a member of a team with the ability to respond to the changing needs of the School
