Job Summary

Perform electrical studies using tools like PSS/e, PSLF, ASPEN Oneliner, Cape, PSCAD, and EMTP-RV for large-scale renewable energy projects ranging from 50 to 2000+ MW. Assist with training and mentoring on techniques and QA/QC processes while supporting clients from conceptual development through plant operations. Conduct apparatus ratings and specifications development for transformers, circuit breakers, switches, cables, and inverters. Execute analyses including transmission load additions, generation interconnections, black start, voltage unbalance, and insulation coordination. Minimum requirements include a BSEE or MSEE from a university eligible for the Professional Engineering exam, with the ability to prepare high-quality written engineering reports.

Required Qualifications

  • BSEE
  • MSEE
  • Degree from a university that meets the requirements to sit for the Professional Engineering exam
  • Capability to prepare high quality written engineering reports
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Subject to client-mandated drug and background checking
  • Subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements
  • No requirement for sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future
