Job Summary
Provide one-on-one care to seniors in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, mobility, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Offer companionship and emotional support while ensuring safety and personal assistance. Complete required CPR, First Aid, and TB skin tests before orientation. Maintain valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel 25 miles. Pass background checks and drug testing. Work flexible shifts ranging from one hour to twelve hours, with premium weekend pay and holiday double time. Earn up to $20/hour based on experience and availability. Gain hands-on healthcare experience to strengthen your resume before graduation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+ to apply
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- A passion for the job and a genuine desire to help others
- Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and a TB skin test
- Reliable personal transportation
- Valid automobile insurance
- Current driver's license
- Willingness to travel 25 miles (30 to 45 minutes)
- Ability to pass background checks, finger printing, drug testing, and have good work-related references
- U.S. citizen or approved work permit to work in the U.S.
