Job Summary

College stringer to string and re-string tennis racquets for team practices, matches, and tournaments. Operate and maintain Baiardo Wilson stringing machines. Maintain consistency and accuracy with tensions and string setups. Assist with inventory and organization of strings, grips, and accessories. Help ensure racquets are completed in a timely manner for practices and competition. Communicate with coaches and players regarding racquet needs and turnaround times. Work as a student employee for Baylor University in the Women’s Tennis program at Hurd Tennis Center with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during busy periods.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous racquet stringing experience required
  • Knowledge and experience using Baiardo Wilson stringing machines preferred
  • Understanding of different string types, tensions, and player preferences
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Dependable, organized, and punctual
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends during competition periods
