Job Summary
String tennis racquets according to specifications using electronic or manual stringing machines while inspecting frames for damage and worn grommets before and after service. Assist in selecting appropriate strings and tensions, maintain accurate records of orders and preferences, and keep the workstation clean and organized. Monitor inventory of strings, grips, and grommets, notifying the supervisor when restocking is needed. This role supports the tennis center's operations by providing high-quality stringing services to students, faculty, staff, and community members. Evening and weekend availability may be required based on operational needs.

- Ability to perform consistent, high-quality stringing with attention to accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple stringing orders while meeting deadlines
- Professional and courteous interaction with customers and coworkers
- Willingness to learn new techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to learn and perform racquet stringing techniques accurately
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Evening and weekend availability may be required based on operational needs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience stringing tennis racquets
- Knowledge of tennis equipment, string types, and racquet maintenance
- Tennis playing experience is preferred but not required
