Job Summary
Officiate all assigned games across basketball, volleyball, soccer, football, and baseball while maintaining playing areas safe and clear of obstructions. Serve as scorekeeper, assist with equipment set-up and take-down, and participate in demonstrations, clinics, or exhibition games as needed. Arrive five minutes before shifts to interact with participants, maintain appropriate records, and report incidents or injuries following emergency procedures. Supervise large groups and uphold YMCA core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, respect, and faith. Commit to at least two seasons with weeknights and weekend availability required.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess some knowledge of rules and policies in various sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, football and baseball.
- Weeknights and weekend availability are required.
- Must be able to commit to at least 2 seasons in sports.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Be CPR/AED and First Aid certified or willing to be certified within first 30 days of employment.
- Must be able to pass reference check, pre-employment drug screen, background check and sex offender check.
