Job Summary
Harvest, plant, and weed in the market garden while assisting with preparation and staffing for the Farmer's Market. Educate volunteers and clients on composting, sustainable agriculture, and food justice through on-farm and community outreach programs. Run routine errands as required and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor. This role supports external community service partners and facilitates volunteer learning experiences at the Spring Lake Farm. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50-100 lbs are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work alongside a team
- Must be able to facilitate volunteer and group learning experiences
- Must be able to sustain extended periods of time working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs
- A valid driver's license
- A good driving record
