Job Summary
Support continuous improvement projects by proactively identifying optimization opportunities and implementing practical solutions. Assist in analyzing operational processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, then help evaluate and deploy new systems, technologies, and digital tools to enhance manufacturing and packaging operations. Support the planning and execution of facility, equipment, and layout improvement projects, including cleanroom and packaging area redesigns. This internship runs from November 1, 2026, for up to two years, with onsite hours of 10-20 per week in Deggendorf, Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, AI, or a related field
- Fluency in German
- At least upper-intermediate (B2) level in English
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Proactivity
- Hands-on-mentality
Desired Qualifications
- 3D-printing experience
- Interest in coding / vibe-coding and/or experimenting in AI based process development
