Job Summary
Conduct daily laboratory setup by preparing chemical reagents, biological media, and specimens according to specific formulas. Maintain and operate common lab devices such as pH meters, centrifuges, and micro pipettes while providing material and supply support to instructors during experiments. Assist with inventory updates, ensuring appropriate labeling and disposal of biological and chemical wastes, including cadaver lab maintenance. Promote safe practices throughout lab activities and maintain cleanliness in classrooms and storage rooms. Attend mandatory safety training and work evenings as part of the 19.5-hour weekly schedule at an hourly rate of $14.00.
Required Qualifications
- Must be in good academic standing
- Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Must be enrolled as a degree seeking student
- Minimum of 6 credits in the current or upcoming semester at Nevada State
- Must be able to work evenings
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship

- Completed college level lab science course work
