Job Summary
Conduct stage setups, load and unload sets and props, and assist with swift scene changes during live performances. Maintain safe work environments by adhering to safety protocols, managing equipment including lighting and rigging, and ensuring proper storage of all materials. Prepare the stage for rehearsals and run technical cues with the production team while working closely with lighting and sound technicians. This role supports smooth operations backstage for the Waco Civic Theatre's Fall and Spring productions.
Required Qualifications
- Federal Work Study (FWS) students only
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor
- Comfortable working in dark, sometimes confined spaces
