Job Summary
Student Worker in the Fine & Performing Arts department performs routine office duties such as answering phones, filing, scheduling, and organizing, and assists with day-to-day operations of the department. Requires on-campus, face-to-face interaction, enrollment at least half-time with GPA requirements, and the ability to use multiple software programs. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential, along with the capacity to multitask and meet deadlines. Some evening/weekend work may be required, and work hours are coordinated with department needs while aligning with class schedules. Required Qualifications
- Enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours/semester undergrad, 3 for graduates)
- Maintain TAMIU GPA of 2.0 (undergrad) / 3.0 (graduate)
- Proficiency with personal computer and common software
- Ability to organize and multitask to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- On-campus, face-to-face interactions
- Submit time sheet biweekly
- Some evening and weekend work may be required
- Criminal history check and credential verification may be required per institution policies
