Job Summary

Capture photo and video content for School of Music ensemble and opera events using provided Sony cameras and mobile phones. Compose shots reflecting event energy while following creative direction and shot lists. Edit raw photos and videos using Adobe Creative Suite, organizing files into shared Box folders with clear naming conventions. Deliver mobile phone footage within 24 hours and edited photos within one week of each event. Maintain regular attendance and communicate availability changes promptly. Submit an online portfolio during application.

Required Qualifications

  • ability to physically carry equipment by yourself, including tripods
  • Photos and videos must be processed from raw format using Adobe Creative Suite
  • student workers should feel comfortable and confident editing/processing themselves
  • Experience with photo/video-editing software
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Must communicate early and often about any changes in availability and deadlines for content delivery

Desired Qualifications

  • Someone familiar with music performance is preferred to understand proper etiquette when capturing live performances in a non-disruptive manner
