Job Summary
Conduct front desk operations for visiting conferences and guest orientations, serving as the primary point of reference for assistance and information. Manage conference arrival and departure logistics by preparing residence hall accommodations, including delivering linen packets, handling key preparation, and auditing inventory. Provide security for guests and residents while responding to crises such as fire alarms, power outages, and safety concerns. Check guests into and out of rooms, post signs, document incidents in reports, and verify rosters. Assist the Residence Life team in planning and implementing programming for residential duties.
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno
- Candidate must be enrolled in classes for the semester of employment
- Candidate must be available for training the week before their respective term
- Community Desk Assistant will be required to live in housing at University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe for the duration of the semester
- Valid driver's license
