Job Summary
Substitute for regular teachers on an as-needed basis while supervising a classroom of students. Present lessons and guide students through grade level standards while embodying professionalism and advocating for Lipscomb Academy. Ideal candidates possess knowledge of instructional strategies, effective communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with students and educational representatives. This position is part-time and available exclusively to current Lipscomb University students.
Required Qualifications
- Some knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques appropriate to teaching the courses assigned
- Ability to instruct and manage students
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to successfully interact with students, other educators and educational institution representatives, and the general public in a professional manner
