Job Summary
Process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments while balancing daily transactions and verifying cash totals. Handle cashier checks, travelers checks, money orders, and cash advances. Assist members with account openings, closures, bookkeeping issues, and stop payment orders. Cross-sell Credit Union products and services. Maintain member privacy, keep the work area secure, and complete required reports and records accurately.
Required Qualifications
- High school student
- Knowledge of Service Representative operations and procedures
- Basic understanding of Credit Union operations
- Good communication skills
- Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
- Good math skills
- Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment including adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, coin and money counting machines, and telephone
- Good typing skills
