Job Summary
Perform basic and moderately complex level one troubleshooting and repair for end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, desk phones, and printers. Fulfill service requests such as granting network drive access, administering distribution lists, and creating or modifying accounts while ensuring timely completion. Document processes, procedures, and Knowledge Base articles to maintain a repository of technical resources and facilitate knowledge sharing. Maintain an inventory of installed hardware and software to ensure accurate asset and license tracking. Work primarily between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM CT with rotating after-hours on-call support for urgent issues. This 8-month co-op position begins in September 2026 for students in Computer Science or Software Engineering at Bird, a leading Canadian construction company.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, or Software Engineering, or equivalent program
- Will complete at least one more semester of education following internship
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Residency, or a valid work permit which would allow you to work for Bird Construction or one of our wholly owned subsidiaries
- Ability to lead and operate within an environment where change happens frequently
