Job Summary
Serving as a liaison between the National College of Education and local school districts to develop relationships that support NLU's mission. Directly observe NLU students at assigned schools, discuss strategies with co-mentors, and provide ongoing feedback on lesson plans and observations. Arrange and conduct appraisal meetings to facilitate professional growth while accommodating student schedules. Attend required professional development opportunities offered by the Office of Field Experiences. This contracted, part-time role requires a minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience, an Illinois licensure, and a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred). Compensation is per term and per student, with travel reimbursement available.
