Job Summary
Support student teams in PRJ-2000-A by meeting regularly during weekly lab hours to assist with workload, organization, decision-making, and interpersonal dynamics. Guide small subgroups through professional discussions and feedback sessions, while reporting team status and notes on development challenges to faculty. Maintain awareness of student well-being to promote reasonable work-life balance and follow up on tasks identified during reviews. Attend lectures and labs on Tuesdays 2:00–3:50 p.m. and Fridays 1:00–5:50 p.m., plus assist with classroom setup and teardown for approximately 20 minutes before and after each session.
Required Qualifications
- Current student at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Reside within the State of Washington
- Good Academic Standing – not on Academic Warning
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Have taken and passed PRJ-2000 / PRJ-2050 (or GAM-205/GAM-250, MUS-240/MUS-242 equivalent)
- Basic understanding of workflows such as SVN, Perforce, or similar
- Some experience with Unreal, Unity or similar engine
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of the needs of a project-based course, including project organization, communication skills, team management, and art/design production within a game engine environment
- Understanding of Source Control
- Understanding of Game Engine Workflows
- Software Troubleshooting Skills – especially with basic communication and project management tools such as Microsoft Teams or similar (Notion, Figma, Trello, Drive, etc.)
