Job Summary
Assist the instructor in the classroom by setting up equipment, facilitating presentations, answering student questions during labs, and pre-grading assessments. Conduct pre- and post-class grading, track attendance, and meet regularly with students outside class to address coursework. Meet weekly with the instructor for performance feedback and duty modification while maintaining good academic standing. Employment runs from August 31, 2026, to April 23, 2027, with a maximum of 20 hours per week at $17.13–$18.25 per hour. Candidates must reside in Washington and cannot work during scheduled class times.
Required Qualifications
- Applicant MUST be a current student at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Student must reside within the State of Washington
- Must be a Matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Must have Good Academic Standing – not on Academic Warning
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Must have taken and passed MUS-120/MUS-120L with a B or better
- Must be proficient with the course materials, concepts, and tools
- Must demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude and a willingness to help others
- Must be comfortable interacting with other students on an instructional level as a mentor
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to perform some stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching
- Must have fine finger dexterity
