Job Summary
Assist instructor Andy Ellinger with GAM-100 lab sections on Fridays (9:00–11:50 a.m. and 3:30–6:20 p.m.) by setting up equipment, facilitating presentations, answering questions, and pre-grading assessments. Provide constructive feedback to students, track work hours, and meet weekly with the instructor for performance feedback and duty modifications. Work remotely within Washington state during the August 31–December 15, 2026 term, maintaining a 3–5 hour weekly schedule while adhering to academic restrictions.
Required Qualifications
- Applicant MUST be a current student at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Student must reside within the State of Washington
- Good Academic Standing – not on Academic Warning
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Have taken and passed GAM-100
- Some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
- Some stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching
- Fine finger dexterity
- May need to lift up to 25 lbs
- Generally 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing

- Possess a positive attitude toward learning and a willingness to help others excel
- Be comfortable interacting with other students on an instructional level as a mentor
