Job Summary
Assist instructor Jeremy Holcomb in DES-101 Principles of Interactive Design by setting up equipment, facilitating student presentations, answering questions during labs, and pre-grading assessments. Support grading outside the classroom and meet regularly with the instructor for performance feedback and duty modifications. Track and report time worked while maintaining complete focus during scheduled hours. This role requires current matriculation at DigiPen with a 2.5+ GPA and a passed DES-101 grade. Employment runs from September 1 to December 17, 2026, with a maximum of 10 hours per week. Students must reside in Washington and cannot work during class times.
Required Qualifications
- Applicant MUST be a current student at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Student must reside within the State of Washington
- Currently a Matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Good Academic Standing – not on Academic Warning
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Have taken and passed DES-101 with a B or better
- Have proven proficiency with the course material
- Possess a positive attitude toward learning and a willingness to help others excel
- Be comfortable interacting with other students on an instructional level as a mentor
- Arrive on time and be prepared to attend with complete focus during work hours
- Accountable for tracking and reporting the amount of time worked
