Job Summary
Assist the instructor in the classroom by setting up equipment, facilitating student presentations, and answering questions during labs and office hours. Meet students online if required and track reported work time weekly. Provide professional critique and mentorship to students while attending regular performance feedback sessions with the instructor. This role supports the CG-2001-B course at DigiPen Institute of Technology, requiring proficiency in Maya, Substance 3D Painter, and 3D modeling. Employment is available from August 31 to December 4, 2026, with a wage range of $17.13 to $18.25 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants MUST be current students at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Student workers must reside within the State of Washington
- Have proven proficiency with the course material
- Be comfortable interacting with other students on an instructional level as a mentor
- Arrive on time and be prepared to attend with complete focus during work hours
- Successfully completed CG-2001
- Comfortable with multiple aspects of 3D Modeling, UV Unwrapping, lighting and rendering in Maya
- Texturing in Substance 3D Painter
- Able to give critique in a professional manner
- Strong communicator
- Reliable, punctual, and invested in the success of their fellow students
- Are currently a Matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Good Academic Standing – not on Academic Warning as defined in DigiPen Course Catalog
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Have taken and passed CG-2001 with a B or better
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Some stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching
- Fine finger dexterity
Desired Qualifications
- one additional 3-hour TA session per week, outside of class hours, if interested
- Possess a positive attitude toward learning and a willingness to help others excel
- Meeting students online, if required
