Job Summary
Assist the instructor in the classroom by setting up equipment, facilitating student presentations, and answering questions during labs and office hours. Meet students online if required and provide professional critique on digital painting and Photoshop work. Track and report the amount of time worked weekly. Report to Zahra Haghiri for performance feedback and duty modifications. Work 3–6 hours per week from September 3 to December 3, 2026, with an additional 3-hour session available outside class hours. Must reside in Washington and meet academic standing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants MUST be current students at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Student workers must reside within the State of Washington
- Have proven proficiency with the course material
- Possess a positive attitude toward learning and a willingness to help others excel
- Be comfortable interacting with other students on an instructional level as a mentor
- Arrive on time and be prepared to attend with complete focus during work hours
- Successfully completed CG-2000
- Comfortable with multiple aspects of Digital painting and Photoshop
- Able to give critique in a professional manner
- Strong communicator
- Reliable, punctual, and invested in the success of their fellow students
- Are currently a Matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Good Academic Standing – not on Academic Warning as defined in DigiPen Course Catalog
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Have taken and passed CG-2000 with a B or better
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to perform some stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching
- Must have fine finger dexterity
