Job Summary
Conduct technical and animation assistance for ANI-3503 3D Animation III students using 3D Maya during classroom setup, labs, and published office hours. Provide constructive feedback on assignments and exercises while meeting students online as required. Track and report work hours, collaborate with other TAs, and cover alternative class times when necessary. Assist instructors with general support duties. Work Monday evenings from 6:00 to 8:50 p.m. between August 31 and December 11, 2026, for 4 to 6 hours per week at $17.13 to $18.25 per hour. Must reside in Washington and be a current DigiPen student.
Required Qualifications
- Applicant MUST be a current student at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Student must reside within the State of Washington
- Must be able to provide technical and animation assistance using 3D Maya
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of Maya
- Expertise in Maya animation tools and procedures
- Successfully completed ANI-350 or another 300-level CG Animation class with a B+ or higher
- Able to give feedback and critique in a professional manner
- Strong communicator
- Good Academic Standing – not on Academic Warning
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Reliable, punctual, and invested in the success of their fellow students
- Able to work independently
