Job Summary
Student Support Specialist for 8th–12th grades at BASIS Chandler. Leads efforts to build a positive achievement-oriented school culture, manages behavior programs, and serves as a visible presence addressing students’ well-being. Primary responsibilities include supporting teachers in parent-student communication, organizing student arrival/dismissal, reviewing assessments (numeracy, reading comprehension, state-required assessments, and BASIS-Curriculum gains), maintaining progress and mid-semester reports, organizing and executing student academic and behavior support, maintaining discipline with documentation, communicating with parents regarding performance and conduct, contributing to academic and student schedules, participating in standardized assessments planning, supporting teachers in building positive relationships with parents, and attending faculty meetings. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) and 3-5 years of experience in a school setting; strong communication, data analysis, organization, judgment, and problem-solving skills; fingerprint clearance is required for employees. Required Qualifications
