Job Summary
Manage the student journey from onboarding through academic success, providing guidance and encouragement to adult learners balancing families, employment, and education. Deliver culturally responsive support aligned with Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding to help eligible adults strengthen foundational skills and prepare for career success. Work Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at 1211 Trumbull, Detroit, MI, in a part-time role averaging 12 hours weekly across 44 weeks per year. Continued employment is contingent upon grant funding availability. This position supports DHDC's adult education services within a community-based nonprofit rooted in Southwest Detroit.
