Job Summary

Coach students in executive functions for managing coursework and instruct social skills curriculum through individual and group sessions. Assist students in navigating educational accommodations, building independent living competencies like apartment maintenance and cooking, and practicing social skills at local venues and community activities. Lead grocery shopping outings, supervise weekend activities, and conduct executive functioning appointments while ensuring health and safety within living environments. Produce session notes and progress reports to coordinate with the multidisciplinary team. Work Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays evenings up to 9 pm in a highly scheduled environment with moderate physical demands.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • At least two years of related experience and/or training
  • Proficient with computer software for office tasks
  • An active Driver's License
  • Schedule: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays evenings up until 9 pm
  • The schedule may change based on organizational needs

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a related field
  • A strong special education background, particularly at the higher education level
  • Experience in the field of autism and/or learning differences
