Student Support Coordinator (6-12)

Job Summary
Student Support Coordinator for grades 6-12, partnered with administrators, teachers, counselors, families, and community agencies to promote student success. Responsibilities include supporting attendance, behavior, student engagement, and family outreach; meeting with students facing academic, attendance, or behavior challenges; mentoring at-risk students; coordinating attendance interventions; implementing PBIS and restorative practices; serving as a liaison with parents and guardians; and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's degree or bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with adolescents in education, youth services, social services, law enforcement, military, coaching, behavioral support, mentoring, or related field preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Knowledge of attendance improvement strategies, behavior interventions, restorative practices, and community resources preferred
