Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on Milton Hershey School campus in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transportation to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role transitions from initial placement across multiple student homes to a Placed Houseparent in a dedicated home, with relocation to Hershey, PA and comprehensive benefits. The position requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, and adherence to campus policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement for the role
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid US driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
