Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same student group. The position is a two-person role for legally married couples, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off work cycle initially, located at an on-campus student home in Hills, TX. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive health/retirement benefits, paid time off, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse/couple role
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
