Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School where a married couple resides in an on-campus student home to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship and daily routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotional time and Chapel, and manage household budgeting and reporting. Role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule, with transition to a Placed Houseparent living-and-working arrangement. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training; requires both spouses to apply separately and meet age, licensing, and fitness requirements as part of a youth-residential-care environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married couple (two-person role)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Complete individual employment applications for both spouses
